Service Description

Explore the categories of tea made purely from the Camellia sinensis plant. No blends, no herbal infusions, just true tea. Learn about the beautiful choreography and ritualistic aspect of the centuries-old Chinese gong fu cha. Often mistaken as a "ceremony," it is but a humble tea service. In highly focused discussions, you will gain an understanding of regional white, green, yellow, oolong, red, black, and Puerh tea, learning to appreciate regional and production differences. This introductory all-day session meets 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon with a lunch break in between. MORNING TEA SESSION from 9:00 to 12:00. (lunch break from 12:00 to 13:30) AFTERNOON TEA SESSION from 13:30 to 16:30. (includes light tea snacks) (incl. VAT) Before and after your tea session: 1. be sure to eat a light meal prior to the session to buffer the natural acidity of the tea. 2. do not wear heavy perfumes or lipsticks as these will interfere with the aroma and taste of tea. 3. drink plenty of water to rehydrate after your session, as tea is a natural diuretic. 4. do not schedule anything for 2 hours after your session. Instead, plan to relax, allowing body and mind to absorb the energy of tea.
