CHA DAO: Autumn Tea Meditation
I've been coming to the Hudson Valley for close to two decades and it is as beautiful and peaceful today as it's always been. A very special place, Ulster County, just two hours north of New York City, is filled with creative energy from local musicians, writers and other artists.
Embracing a new setting and celebrating this season's colorful foliage, I am offering a weekly tea meditation, every Monday for the month of October. Tea meditation has been a common spiritual practice for centuries, buddhist monks using the beverage to both concentrate and calm the mind. Surrounded by nature, I look forward to these gatherings with you, setting an intention each week as we approach the coldest months of the year, generally the most challenging for many.
If you are from out of town and would like to stay (I highly recommend it), be sure to check out the Arbor Bed & Breakfast in High Falls, NY, which is conveniently located 10 minutes from Liquid Gold Tea's tea garden.
Each intimate gathering will hold space for 8 guests only, so while a donation is at your discretion, reservations are required.
I very much look forward to holding space together, drinking tea mindfully while exchanging beautiful and positive energy as we experience a practice in Cha Dao, or The Way of Tea,
Happy cupping _/\_
